Return to Where the Eagle II Has Landed!

I had always wanted to check out the Outer Banks, but it seemed always just far enough away to not be feasible. Today I had to go!

I drove the loop from Williamston to Nags Head, through Roanoke Island up to Kitty Hawk, over to Elizabeth City, back to Williamston and down to Stateburg, SC. WHEW!!!!

This light house stands just before the bridge taking you onto Roanoke Island.
