Adult and Family Programs
These programs teach outdoor skills from the ground up, assuming no previous experience, then offer a range of activities to accommodate all levels of skill, ability, and experience. Our "small group" philosophy is especially suitable for individuals, couples, groups of friends, or families who want to adventure together and who also want a program flexible enough to meet the needs of all the participants. Our generous guide-to-client ratio ensures that everyone gets the instruction, attention, and encouragement they need to have an enjoyable and memorable adventure.
Private Adventures Guides In addition to all of our scheduled programs, Outpost Wilderness Adventure offers exclusive custom guiding in rock climbing, mountaineering, mountain biking and backcountry travel for all levels and ages throughout Texas,
Colorado, Wyoming, and Mexico. Our guides are professionals who combine experience, solid teaching skills, and great personalities making the adventure experience fun without sacrificing quality.
OWA has been providing adventure programs for 20 years, is fully insured and licensed and operates on public lands under permit with the National Park Service, Bureau of Land Management and the US Forest Service. OWA has been offering some programs in Texas as part of the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department's Texas Passport Adventures Program.

Adventure Guiding
Individuals or small groups that want more intensive one-on-one instruction or guiding that assumes a
higher level of expertise are served by our Private Adventure Guides. The OWA Adventure Guides can handle the needs of mountaineers, sport climbers, mountain bikers, or backpackers at any level of expertise. They help you plan the kind of adventure you want and then put all of their knowledge and experience into helping you realize your goal. Whether that goal is to make your first climb or your 1000th, to enjoy the changing aspens from a rolling bike trail or train for your next race on rugged terrain, to spend a weekend in the Lost Creek Wilderness or two weeks on an extended backcountry expedition, the OWA Adventure Guides can help make it happen.
