Outpost Wilderness Adventure

Summer Youth Adventure Camps & Program

OWA is now celebrating 20 years
of great adventures!

The Outpost Wilderness Adventure summer adventure camps, expeditions and programs are designed to provide youth 11 & up with high quality, in-depth instruction in a range of outdoor adventure activities, great opportunities for personal growth and, most importantly, lots of fun.

These are not traditional summer camp programs, but in-depth adventure experiences. We specialize in rock climbing, mountain biking, backpacking and backcountry travel, fly fishing and alpine climbing.

OWA summer programs generally originate at the OWA Colorado Base Camp located about 70 miles west of Colorado Springs, in the Tarryall Mountains. Some programs take place in the Base Camp area, while others head into a variety of backcountry locations in Colorado and Wyoming.

Most programs do not require previous experience, but participants should be prepared for an active experience in a relatively remote setting. OWA provides most gear including backpacks, climbing gear, mountain bikes, fly rods, and tents along with transportation to and from the Colorado Springs Airport, great food and some of the best guides and leaders in the business! Group size is limited.

Specialty Camps: Rock Climbing, Mountain Biking & Fly Fishing

Intensive instruction and action in specific adventure sports is the theme for OWA's specialty camps. Each offers team members an opportunity to absorb themselves in an exciting adventure sport with enough time to develop the skills and all-around knowledge required to participate in the sport successfully and responsibly.
