Praise the Lord! | and Harvest shall not cease." (Gen.8:22) | Hallelujah! |
I trust that you will get your Bible and read Mark 4:1-20. This illustration that Jesus gave the multitude is getting into my mind and spirit more and more as I see the same thing happening in the lives of people all around us and everywhere we go to speak God's Word.
Verses 4-8(amp)
Hallelujah!
Isn't that exciting to see the possibility of God's word producing a 100-fold return in our lives? What is the word producing in your life today? Is it producing thirty or sixty or one hundred times as much as the seed? Or have you allowed Satan to steal the seed or allowed it to wither and die? But listed to the rest of the story.
The Sower Sows The Word
Then when they were by themselves, Jesus's close followers and the twelve asked Him about the parable, and He told them: The secret of the Kingdom of God has been given to you. Then He continued: "Do you really not understand this parable? Then how are you going to understand all the other parables? The man who sows, sows the message. As for those who are by the roadside where the [Word] message is sown, as soon as they hear it Satan comes at once and takes away what has been sown in their minds. Similarly, the seed sown among the rocks represents those who hear the [Word], message without hesitation and accept it joyfully. But they have no real roots and do not last when trouble or persecution because of the message.[Word], they give up their faith at once. Then there are the seeds which were sown among thorn bushes. These are the people who hear the word, but the worries or cares of this world and the false glamour of riches and all sorts of other ambitions creep in and choke the life out of what they have heard, and it produces no crop in their lives. As for the seed sown on good soil, this means the people who hear the word and accept it and do produce a crop -- thirty, sixty, even a hundred times as much as they received.
The only way Satan can keep you from being a productive producing Christian if you have accepted Jesus as Lord of your life and have been filled with the Holy Spirit is to keep the Word from taking root in your mind and heart and keep the Word from producing in your life. Jesus has just told His close followers and His disciples what Satan does to rob them of the Word that will product abundance in every area of their lives. The enemy brings five things against us to rob us of the seed [the Word].
Five Things to Stop Seed From Producing
Jesus said immediately affliction or persecution arises for the Words sake or immediately after we hear the Word he comes with affliction and persecution to steal it away from us so it will not take root in our minds and hearts. The third thing mentioned is the cares of this world. Probably legitimate things just to get our mind off the Word. Fourth thing mentioned is deceitfulness or riches and how many have found out that money won't satisfy for any length of time. The fifth thing mentioned is lust of other things.
These are the ways Satan can get the seed out of the ground and stop the Word from producing abundance in your life and in the lives of others around you. That is it! He comes to you in your mind with those five things. He will always work with your mind in these five areas. Always. That is where he makes his entrance, through the soulish realm. Once you block him from controlling your soulish realm he absolutely has no place in your life. II Cor. 10:5 says "cast down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ."
I have said so many times that the real battle is in the mind. And the more I say it the more I believe it because the enemy is a deceiver and an accuser of the brethren. So I must continually meditate on God's Word so that it may take root in my mind and heart [spirit]. Jesus said in Verse 26 that the Kingdom of God was, as a man should case seed into the ground. The whole plan of salvation and the Kingdom of God is based upon the principle of sowing and reaping.
What You Sow You Shall Reap
Gal. 6:7 says "whatsoever a man soweth that shall he also reap." Hallelujah! Isn't that exciting to know that if you sow seeds of love, you will reap love? If you want kindness, you must plant seeds of kindness. If you want prosperity, plant seeds of prosperity or anything that is in this kingdom of life, you must plant those seeds.
Everything in this kingdom is in the form of a seed and it belongs to you, but that seed must be planted. It will never produce unless it is planted. You can believe it with all your heart but unless you plant it, it will never produce. Ask any Christian and they will tell you they believe the Bible. But it is a different story when it comes to believing the Bible and planting the seed. It is not just how much you believe, it is how much of what you believe, you ACT on. If you don't act upon what you believe, it will never do you any good. It is only seeds sown that bring the harvest. Praise God!
I have written myself happier. Hallelujah! The word of God is becoming more powerful to me and in me every day as I keep feeding it into my mind and the word is working mightily in me. Praise God for His Word. The more I speak the word and share the revelation knowledge He gives me of the word, the more He multiplies it back to me with new revelation of His Word.
Jesus said, "I speak only the words of my Father and my words are spirit and life". And Jesus said in John 14:12 we would do the same things (as believers) as He did, so as we speak God's Word, we speak life to those around us. Hallelujah! God is watching over His word to perform it.
In closing, I would like for you to pray with me the following prayer and confessions of faith:
I will be sharing for a few months on some of the things I'm learning as to how to grow as a Christian. We all know to grow we must feed on the Written Word. Our spirit man must be fed. I've found that I must find out what the Word of God says about me and then agree with it and act like it is true instead of agreeing with the way I feel. And the best way that I know to do that is to confess it with my mouth; (hear myself say it). Then I get it down in my spirit and what is legally mine becomes a reality.
Let's start with: II Cor. 5:17
II Cor. 6:16(b)
I John 4:4
Romans 8:11
Now doesn't that make you feel like you could jump through a troop and leave over a wall! I know we are not to go by feelings but I'm convinced that if I believe right, think right and talk right that I will feel right. Praise the Lord! I love you!
As the sower was sowing some seed fell along the path and the birds came and ate it up. Other seed (of the same kind) fell on ground full of rocks, where it had not much soil, and at once it spring up, because it had no depth of soil; and when the sun came up, it was scorched and because it had not taken root withered away. Other seed (of the same kind) fell among thorn plants, and the thistles grew and pressed together and utterly choked and suffocated and it yielded no grain. And other seed (of the same kind) fell into good (well adapted) soil and brought forth grain, growing up and increasing and yielded up to thirty times as much, and sixty times as much, and even a hundred times as much as had been sown.

Amen. Amen.
I love you and Jesus loves you.

Greetings In The Name of Jesus
from Mary Leigh
Therefore if any many be in Christ, he is a new creature; old things are passed away, behold all things are become new.
Confession: I am in Christ therefore I am a new creature. My spirit man has been made brand new; I hae a new nature, I've been born again by the Spirit of God.
For ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said; I will dwell in them, and walk in them; I will be their God and they shall be my people.
Confession: My body is the temple of the living God. He lives in me, he walks in me.
Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them; because greater is He that is in you, than he that is in the world.
Confession: The Greater One lives in me therefore I am an overcomer.
But if the Spirit of Him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, He that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by His Spirit that dwelleth in you.
Confession: That Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead lives in me. He makes my mortal body alive. He's alive in me.
