A full made-from-scratch breakfast is served in our elegant dining room at your convenience. Breakfast might be Sunrise Enchiladas, Grit Souffle, Apple-Pecan pancakes, to name just a few of our recipes or something new just discovered. We also feature homemade jams and jellies. Many are made from wild fruits such as alpine strawberry, raspberry, chokecherry, serviceberry, and others gathered in the Snowy Range mountains west of Cheyenne. Special dietary needs are accommodated.

Guests are encouraged to make themselves at home. Fresh fruit, beverage and afternoon snacks are available in the kitchen. If the weather is wintry, the living room fire is cozy and warm. In summer, the front porch swing beckons to those in need of a relaxing respite. In the living room, a piano, violin and guitar is available for guest use and enjoyment.

Summer gardens are colorful and fragrant with a variety of perennials, aromatic and culinary herbs, wildflowers and annuals.. If you find something you like, we would be pleased to send a cutting or seeds home with you.

Relax at home or walk the old neighborhood to historic downtown Cheyenne for shopping, museums, theatre, cinema, antique flea markets, restuarants and many Cheyenne Frontier Days activities.

Explore Cheyenne’s recreation trail - great for biking, walking, or jogging. We are close enough for day trips to the Medicine Bow National Forest, the Snowy Range Mountains and the rocks of Vedauwoo (pronounced vee-dah-voo). In winter, cross-country skiing, and in summer, mountain biking, is just 30 minutes away.

If you have any questions about things to do or places to go, feel free to ask us. We love to pretend we're experts.
