Pine Gables Inn
Mansion History
circa 1883

Framed by majestic pine trees, historic Pine Gables Inn was built in 1883, for A. V. Quinn. He was the owner of the local lumber company and established Evanston's first bank.

In 1923, the Eastlake Victorian style mansion was transformed into a tourist home. The present owners, Nephi and Ruby Jensen, have restored the home to compliment its original beauty and charm. The mansion is on the National Register of Historic Places and is a few steps from the center of historic Evanston, where you can also find restaurants, shopping and a theater.
