The house is built of stone with native red rock trim around its windows and doors. Inspired by the Arts and Craft Tradition, it has every luxury of its day. When you experience the space of the Grand Parlor (40 feet by 28 feet), you will understand why historically the house has served the area as a place for weddings, dances and celebrations. The house is designed to give you the experience of the luxury living of the wealthy ranchers of old, and it remains surrounded by the rugged, unspoiled land they once ruled.
A photo of the Grand Parlor is in the "Story of the Great American West" published by Reader's Digest in 1977.
